It was a great New York Comic Con 2019. Had a portfolio review with great feedback on what i can improve, was networking for work, was inspired to still keep chasing that dream. A little late updating my journal but a couple weeks ago attending the Garden State Comic Fest I met my fav artist David Finch. After i got my Batman book signed I worked up the courage to ask him if he does portfolio reviews to see where else I need improvement.  Much to my surprise he said yes if it's quick.  Shaking so badly and feeling insecure with people watching and being so nervous I pulled out my artbook/portfolio and Mr. Finch proceeded to thumb through the pages.  He told me my figure drawings were good but he noticed my shadows and lighting needed some work.  Mentioning I have trouble understanding it he gave me a quick tutorial
